Tracy Ross is a correspondent for Outside and the rural reporter for The Colorado Sun. Over her 25-year career in journalism she has written extensively in the outdoor space and has been an editor at several outdoor publications. In 2011, she published a memoir, The Source of All Things, based on a Backpacker feature that won the National Magazine Award. And last February a movie based on her Bicycling Magazine story "Hard Miles" premiered in theaters across the country. She is currently at work on a book about raising kids on either side of The Great Climate Change Acceleration.
