Coach, Mindfulness Teacher

Kriste Peoples is a Denver-based outdoor enthusiast and guide, runner, writer, and mindfulness meditation teacher. An UESCA-certified trail running coach for Life's Too Short Fitness, Peoples is also a leader in Colorado’s BIPOC outdoor community. Her conference presentations include NOLs Risk Management, PGM One, Outdoor Retailer, REI, Summit Sisters, and more. She has served on the boards of Running Start, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women overcome obstacles to fitness, and the American Trail Running Association. Currently she serves as the executive director of Women's Wilderness, a Boulder-based nonprofit with a mission to create a greater sense of agency, belonging, and engagement in nature among women, girls, and nonbinary people. Peoples is a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher who brings her sense of adventure and curiosity to the inward journey of self-discovery. Her writing has been published in Trail Runner, Outdoor Research, Altra Running’s Run Better blog, Outside Magazine, Elevations Outdoors, and more.
